Some Smiths

Cedar Yellow Point Loop

Cedar, BC

Directions:

Drive to the Crow and Gate Pub and park in their parking lot (49.08989, -123.84115).  After the ride, it's great to drop in and have lunch and a cold beer.

Conditions:

The route is all rural paved roads.  Expect the normal distribution of recently repaired to original in-need-of-work surfaces.  Some of the roads have a fair bit of traffic, but they are wide enough that it's not a problem if you ride single file.

The Trip:

There are a few hills which are only a problem if you're out of shape and don't have an eBike.  It's interesting to drop in to the Yellow Point Lodge.  You get a feeling that you're a rich dude in the 1920's.

There are quite a few homes and farms along the way that are interesting to see, but Quennell Road is quite beautiful and is our favourite part of the ride.
